Last month, I had cooked Indian sweet-dish – Gajar ka Halwa.

It is carrot based dessert pudding from India. In Hindi, Gajar means carrot and Halwa means sweet. It is made of grated carrot containing milk, ghee (butter) and sugar. Often served with garnish of dry fruits like almonds and cashews. It is usually made in winters as that’s the season for carrots and served hot or cold.
