Qutub_Minar

Above is the click of a beautiful corner of Qutub Minar.

Qutub Minar is one of the well known Heritage site of India. It is a majestic, cylindrical shaped tower soaring 73m high. It was constructed in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak (the first Sultan of Delhi Sultanate) and later completed by his successors.

This tower is carved with intricate designs and verses from the Holy Book “Quran” are engraved in it. It is taller than other towers of the world like Leaning Tower of Pisa, Great Pagoda and many more.
