… 11th march’09… ART of living

As  our  daily  lives  are on  a  jet  speed  routine, we  seem  to  have  lost  ourselves. The  desire  to  go  farther  and  farther- what does it ultimately give us… is it a satisfaction of performing our best or is it a surrender before the trends of the society.

When you sometimes sit and think as to where this “race” has taken you, you find yourself stuck in the same place as you were earlier. But what about all the efforts you have been putting day and night, the mental trauma disturbing you and what about the exhaustion and fatigue which you intentionally overlook?? And then you find a big question mark before you. You are in a dilemma. Don’t know what to do, where to go, whom to seek advice from. Think again, is it the time to slow down, to relax a bit and to move again. Shouldn’t even you relax for sometime? But most of us are at a continuous competition with society and some of us with our ownselves. ” Wont stopping down even for a small time, slow down our pace, wont we be left far behind others” – all these worries and questions seem to inundate our mind.

But you should think of your own capabilities and try your best to avoid competing with others though it’s a bit difficult task. This will recognize your own potentials and thus result into a more productive “YOU”. By continuously submitting yourself to this race, aren’t you letting your own life be dominated by the actions of others. Why don’t you trust yourself. Create your own paths and rule them. Have confidence in yourself.

Being a topper or always having best academics result is not everything. For getting a marksheet full of distinction or 9 points, you should not ignore your talents and be a bookworm breaking relations with all other enjoyments of life. You can excel in art, music n cooking too! Never get disappointed if academics didn’t reach that good heights. But see that you don’t suppress your talents. Give them open air to breathe, sky to fly and horizons to conquer. As somebody has very well quoted that in our very very busy lives , ”There is no time to stand and stare.” Create enough flexibility and calm within you to enjoy the small moments of life.

No doubt, you must work really hard using the best of your abilities to achieve your goal in life but while heading towards it do maintain a fine balance between the various aspects of life. But once you master the “art”, its sure to get much vaster horizon of happiness and inner peace. So think about it… For here lives all the varieties and “mantra” of success.
